With freezing tempatures soon to affect our area, please take precautions now to prevent the damaging effects of the weather. Insulate exposed water pipes and plumbing fixtures to reduce the risk of freeze damage. Locate your customer service valve to insure you can turn off your water should it become necessary. Your valve should be approximately 6 to 8 inches from the water meter. Dripping faucets can put a strain on water system. Should the demand for water overcome the plant's production capabilites the water pressure will be reduced throughtout the district to help maintain operations.
